TEACHING:
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN

ADULTS:

Lessons can be either 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes long and you will get individual customized attention to:

• help you build your confidence
• acquire new skills
• make the transition from practicing to performing
All styles, ages and levels are welcome. Mary specializes in Irish / Gaelic singing style.
There will also be classes on offer if you would prefer that experience. The support generated by a group has a very specific energy
and moves participants to a new level of awareness and confidence. It's also a way to make new friends!

CHILDREN:
Lessons can be either 30 minutes or 45 minutes and you will get individual customized attention to:

•Learn basic singing skills.
•Develop healthy vocal habits
•Improve confidence and performance ability.
•Classes for groups of children up to ten will also be offered.

MARY'S TEACHING CREDENTIALS

Apart from over 25 years experience of being an international singer, performer and recording artist, Mary is a trained teacher ( B.A. / P.G.C.E. London University) and holds a Certificate of Music Education (C.M.E.) in Vocal Workshops from Trinity College, London. She is a Certified Life / Creativity Coach (C.E.C.) and graduate of IPEC (Institute of Empowerment Coaching). She spent many years studying performance technique and self / spiritual development in London and California.

Mary has spoken and sung in Gaelic since the age of eleven and has studied with some of the top Sean -nós (Gaelic) singers in Donegal today.

She has taught vocal and performance technique to adults extensively through the United States at camps and festivals. She has also spent many years teaching vocal music to children in the Public School system in the United States and England.

Mary has spent fifteen years working as a trainer for teachers on professional development programs in both the United States and England and is often called on as a curriculum consultant by educational organizations.
