Apart from over 25 years experience as an international singer, performer and recording artist, Mary is a trained teacher (B.A. / P.G.C.E. London University) and holds a Certificate of Music Education (C.M.E.) in Vocal Workshops from Trinity College, London. She is a Certified Life / Creativity Coach (C.E.C.) and graduate of IPEC (Institute of Empowerment Coaching) as well as having trained in Group Facilitation Methods with ICA (Institute of Cultural Affairs.) She spent many years studying performance technique and self / spiritual development in London and California.
Mary has spoken and sung in Gaelic since the age of eleven and has studied with some of the top Sean -nós (Gaelic) singers in Donegal today.
For almost twenty years she has taught vocal and performance technique to adults through Britain and the United States in a variety of venues both formal, (University and College Courses) and less formal (camps and festivals.) She also spent many years teaching vocal music to children in the Public School system in the United States and England and her experience includes seventeen years of working with children with special needs,
Further to this she has spent fifteen years working as a teacher trainer on professional development programs in both the United States and England and for many years worked as an arts education curriculum consultant throughout the State of California.
