Songs and chants old and new to enliven your spirit. The healing power of song has been recognized by almost every sacred tradition throughout time. In this workshop we will sing songs from many traditions and explore the heights and depths of sacred song.

Songs range from Christian, Judaic, Native American and Celtic songs and rounds to Buddhist and Hindu mantras.

The songs are chosen for their simplicity and accessibility so that you can sing to your heart’s content whether you think you have a "voice" or not!

This workshop honors everyone’s birthright to express themselves in singing - it is not about perfection but the sheer joy of singing these sacred songs in a community, the very act of which raises us all to a higher vibration.

Songs will be taught aurally but there will be copies of the words distributed, no previous experience of sacred song required, just a willingness to sing and an openness to and respect for sacred song from many traditions.
